Most retail military discounts require ID.me verification as Active Duty, Veteran, or Reserve/Guard. ROTC cadets are not yet active duty, so eligibility varies by program — check each one before assuming it applies to you.
Service Academies
Academy Cadet Savings
Cadets live in barracks with most costs covered, so "cheapest housing" doesn't apply here. Instead: liberty-weekend spots, travel home, gear, and exchange/commissary savings near each academy.
Heads up: we don't list bars or alcohol deals for academy towns. Alcohol policy at every service academy is strict, class-year-dependent, and governed by your own chain of command — not something FAWN should be pointing you toward. Know your academy's regs.
